A September 25, 2026 snapshot
All 30 teams were checked against ESPN’s public roster and depth-chart feeds. The roster includes training-camp and developmental players; final roster spots are not implied. Specific long-term absences were checked against linked reports.
The board is a projection
Starting fives, position assignments, minutes, closing lineups, and the written analysis are original preseason judgments. They are not official coaching decisions. Every baseline rotation allocates 240 player-minutes. Positional depth can repeat a player; the minutes allocation counts that player only once.
Two availability scenarios
Opening night excludes the long-term absences called out in the research. Full health imagines the entire roster available, with no recovery date implied. A dated day-to-day flag is shown as “Watch”; it does not automatically remove a player from the opening-night projection. Missing injury data is not medical clearance.
How confident are the projections?
High: a relatively clear starting structure. Medium: one or two meaningful choices. Low: several plausible lineups or a development-heavy roster. These are qualitative editorial judgments, not probabilities.
Saving your changes
Edit each scenario independently. Lineups, minutes, depth order, closing fives and notes save on this browser and device. Export a backup to move them elsewhere. Reset restores only the selected team and scenario. This version does not automatically refresh or sync across devices.
